1.How do I give my balloons a matte finish?
Inflate the balloons 1-2 days before the party and keep them in a cool, ventilated place. The balloons are oxidised by the air, creating a matte effect that is visually best when used at a party. The balloons are photographed after they have been inflated and due to the display there are some differences between the balloons and when you first get them.
2.What gas will fill the balloon to make it float?
Filling with helium will make the balloon float, air will not and the balloon will last a long time if not used in harsh conditions.
3.What should I look for when inflating a balloon?
When inflating balloons, do not inflate them too much, only 85-95% of the gas should be inflated. It is not recommended to use balloons in hot environments. It is recommended to use a manual air pump or a high powered electric pump for inflation. Also, some kits contain double balloons and it is recommended that a manual air pump is used when inflating the 5" double balloon.
4.What if I have no experience in making balloon wreaths?
We offer balloon tying kits (air pumps not included) to help make your balloon wreath or arch easier. Balloons can be filled with air or helium and the colour of the balloon will change when inflated. Enjoy the DIY fun of the bags. You can hang them in cool places such as trees, walls, windows, doorways, dining tables and anywhere you like.
